Respiratory Care
 The
Respiratory Care Department is comprised of Registered
Respiratory Therapists, Certified Respiratory Therapy
Technicians, and Respiratory Therapy Assistants, all
licensed by the State of Iowa to provide a full-range
of respiratory therapy care modalities.
Inpatient services are provided 24 hours a day, seven
days a week. Therapies include, but are not limited
to:
- Small volume hand held nebulizer treatments,
- Chest Physiotherapy,
- Oxygen and Oximetry Therapy,
- Ventilator Care,
- Bi-PAP.
Pulmonary Function Lab offers complete pulmonary function
study capability including Pulmonary Treadmill Stress
Testing. The Phase II primary Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Program teaches patients with Chronic Pulmonary Disease
(CPD) proper breathing skills and techniques to improve
their lives. Respiratory Care Services are provided
to customers of all ages.
