Job Description:

Performs some clerical, reception duties, and related duties relative to nursing care and service to patients. 

Duties involve the use of personal computers, computer terminals, and a variety of software and/or conventional office equipment.

Performs patient care duties as in transporting patients, setting up calibrating IV lines, as well as responsibilities in inventory control and reordering and related duties relative to nursing care and service to patients at times in a critical environment.

Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Call is also a requirement for the position.

Preferred Skills:

BLS and ACLS

Paramedic or EMT background required

 

 

 

High school graduate or GED.

Course in Medical Terminology preferred.

Skill in reading and comprehending documents written in standard English text.

 

 

 

Basic computer knowledge. Working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook.   

Ability to enter data accurately.  Detail oriented in all work.

Grammatically correct verbal and written skills required.

(July 1, 2010 – Ottumwa, Iowa.) – Officials at Ottumwa Regional Heath Center announced today that the Infusion Center at ORHC will remain open.
