Job Description:

The RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) will work under the general supervision of the Medical Director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.  This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education.  A Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties defined for a Polysnographic Technician and may provide oversight of other staff. Regular attendance is an essential function of this job.  To work Sunday thru Wednesday nights.

Preferred Skills:

Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polycomnographic Technologist or equivalent

 

 

 

High School diploma or GED

 Successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in polysomnography

Successful completion of related program with experience in Sleep Disorders (RRT, CRTT, EEG) and subsequent RPSGT registry

BLS required

 

 

 

1 year Medical Background experience in related RT or Sleep / EEG field preferred

6 months experience in direct patient care or medical background
