We are committed to providing quality health care services to the people of Southeast Iowa and Northeast Missouri. We offer state of the art technology and a highly skilled staff of physicians, medical professionals and support staff that are here to serve you. We also are affiliated with the Iowa Health System, Mercy Medical and the University of Iowa.

Local management and voluntary advisory board help ensure that we are responsive to the needs of the communities we serve.

By demonstrating compliance with national standards for health care quality and safety, Ottumwa Regional Health Center has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval.

The Joint Commission seeks to continuously improve the safety and quality of care provided to the public through the provision of health care accreditation and related services that support performance improvement in health care organizations. The Joint Commission evaluates and accredits more than 15,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States, including more than 8,000 hospitals and home care organizations, and more than 6,800 other health care organizations that provide long term care, assisted living, behavioral health care, laboratory and ambulatory care services.

Nurses Honored at Ottumwa Regional

OTTUMWA - (May 7th 2010) – Ottumwa Regional Health Center (ORHC) believes that nurses play a paramount role in patient care and that nurses deserve to be recognized on an on-going basis for the work they do every day.   Carol Northup CNO, RN has been named as the first recipient of the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses at ORHC.
