Free Diabetes Education

Bayer HealthCare and Iowa Health Physicians are pleased to offer free diabetes educational programs. A Certified Diabetes Educator will present programs Tuesday, March 14 on the basics of good nutrition, carbohydrate counting and reading food labels and on Tuesday, April 18 on understanding how increasing physical activity can help with overall diabetes management and how to increase physical activity and maintain it over time. Programs will be held from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at Ottumwa Regional Health Center, 1005 E. Pennsylvania Avenue. Seating is limited so please register by calling 641-682-4594.
